Why Allu Arjun Arrested?
Allu Arjun’s most anticipated movie Pushpa 2: The Rule was released on 5 December 2024. Prior to release, of movie worldwide creators of movie, scheduled premier show on 4 December 2024 at Sandhya Theatre, Chikkadpally Road Hyderabad, Telangana. Show was attended by top cast of movie Pushpa 2 including Allu Arjun and others. Lot of fans also attended and tried have the glimpse of superstar Allu Arjun at theatre.
The management of venue and security of Allu Arjun didn’t expect this amount of crowd. Fans became out of control and there was heavy traffic there was no space for even air. The event soon turned into Stampede and crowd was rushing on one other. This stampede situation took life of 32-year women named Revathi and her 9-year-old son was in condition called Asphyxiation (a condition in which a body didn’t get enough Oxygen, and this condition can lead to coma even death in severity). At present her son is in coma recovering in hospital in Hyderabad.
Upon this situation an FIR was registered against actor Allu Arjun, Sandhya Theatre Manager and actor’s security team, at Chikkadpally Police station under sections of105 and 118(1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) by family of Revathi.
When and Where Allu Arjun Kept?
Allu Arjun was arrested on 13 December 2024 evening and taken into custody from his house in Hyderabad by City Police of Hyderabad. He was kept in Chanchalguda Jail on Friday evening and kept overnight and released on Saturday morning. High Court of Telangana granted bail to Allu Arjun hours after his arrest, but the police said due to security reasons, he will be released on Saturday morning. Fans of Allu Arjun were overjoyed by bail news and gathered outside of jail.
Allu Arjun's Statement
After the incident occurred actor Allu Arjun announced Rs 25 lakh assistance to the deceased family and also promised to support the family expenses in hospital for treatment of her son. After release from jail he stated that I am directly not involved in the incident. And also filed a plea to quash FIR registered by family and also requested to a stay on all further complaints. High Court will proceed the hearing in some time.
Why CM Revanth Reddy involved?
After Allu Arjun’s arrest there was unrest in the hearts of fans and were storming the social media with support to him and were demanding the release of actor. Meanwhile Chief Minister of Telangana Revanth Reddy in a news show said that we should think about the family of deceased and about the child who was in hospital and undergoing treatment. We should discuss about the future of that child without mother and how his further life goes. And also made comments on Allu Arjun’s fans: “he is a actor and it is business. They invested and making money through it that’s it. and he is not any fighter to rush like this to see him.”
Is it Correct to arrest actor?
Allu Arjun is a National Award winner and is reputed person in the state. It is completely unfair that getting arrested for the incident to which he is not responsible. After the arrest of Allu Arjun, co-star Rashmika Mandanna responded by stating it is believable arrest of actor. After release Allu Arjun met family members. Naga Chaitanya, Rana Daggubati, Vijay Deverakonda and other such as Director of Pushpa 2 movie Sukumar, visited in person to Allu Arjun to meet.
