Vivek Oberoi full name is Vivek Anand Oberoi is an Indian former actor and active businessman. He was born on 3 September 1976 in Hyderabad, Telangana. He is son of former actor Suresh Oberoi, had Bollywood debut in 2002 with movies Company, a Hindi crime film and a romantic movie Saathiya.

He is a two-time Filmfare Award winner for his amazing eye-catching performance in his debut movie, Company.  The Ram Gopal Varma’s gangster movie, Company brought him a wide audience and great opportunities. This movie was a commercial success and also stars Ajay Devgan in it. Then in same year he got starred in Road and Dum movies. In late 2002 he collaborated with Rani Mukerji in romantic movie, Saathiya. For this movie he got nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

Personal Life and Family:

He was born to Punjabi father, Suresh Oberoi and Mother Yashodhara who got married in 1974. His mother comes from a Punjabi Business family who settled in Chennai. He is named after a Hindu monk, Swami Vivekananda. Oberoi went to Ajmer to study at Mayo college and Mithibai College in Mumbai. He completed his Master’s Degree in Film Acting after getting noticed by director of New York University.

Marriage life: Earlier he dated his co-star Aishwarya Rai, from movie Kyun! Ho Gaya Na. In 2003 he alleged that Ex-Boyfriend of Aishwarya, Salman Khan threatened him. Then, in 2005 they were broke up. In 2010, Vivek Oberoi married to Priyanka Alva, daughter of Karnataka Minister’s daughter. They had a daughter and son.

Oberoi’s portrayal of the antagonist was a standout, adding depth and intensity to the film, and showcasing his versatility in playing complex characters.
