1. Kanguva
Kanguva is an India Tamil- Language epic fantasy action movie, which stars Suriya, Disha Patani, Bobby Deol and Yogi Babu. It is directed by Siva a South-Indian director and produced by Studio Green and UV Creations.
Budget and Box Office Collection
Kanguva was released on 14 November 2024. It is a high budget movie with whooping amount of Rs 300- 530 crores. Despit its high budget, amazing graphics and performance by Suriya and other cast, Kanguva failed at Box Office with only collection of Rs 104 crores. This movie was announced to be released on 10 October but got postponed avoiding clash with Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan.
Story Line and Premise:
In 2024, Zeta, a test subject with superpowers, escapes from a Russian biomedical facility near the Indian border. Bounty hunter Francis Theodore, a reincarnation of ancient warrior Kanguva, encounters Zeta and begins to experience flashbacks from his past life. As they form a bond, they’re pursued by the facility’s commander, Ryan, who’s revealed to be the reincarnation of Rathaangasan, a vengeful warrior from Kanguva’s past. Francis and Zeta must navigate their complicated past-life connections to survive.

2. Matka
Matka is an Indian Telugu-Language period action thriller movie. It was released on 14 November 2024 in cinemas. It was Karuna Kumar directional movie, Tollywood fil director and produced by Vyra and SRT Entertainments.
Budget and Collection:
Much of information of this movie such as budget but according to some reports the overall budget stood at Rs 35 crores including all the promotions. But the sad part is it is failed at box office. This movie failed to cross its budget and managed to collet only Rs 2-5 crores in first week of release.
Story Line:
Matka is a real-life story of Vasu a prominent Matka Gambler and Gangster. The story depicts the 24 years life span Vasu.

Matka is streaming on Amazon Prime was available on 5th December, 2024.
3.Amaran
Amaran is an Indian-Biographical action war film, depicts the real-life hero Major Mukund Varadarajan released on 31st October 2024. This movie stars Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose and Bhuvan Arora. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamyy and produced by Kamal Hassan, R. Mahendran and Vivek Krishnani.
Story Line:
Indhu Rebecca Varghese narrates the story of her husband, Mukund Varadarajan’s a brave Indian Army officer. They meet in college, fall in love, and get married despite initial opposition from their families. Mukund serves in Kashmir, leading the CAT team to eliminate terrorists, including Altaf Baba and Asif Wani. Despite facing challenges and injuries, Mukund remains determined to serve the nation.
Tragically, he is killed in action, leaving behind Indhu and their daughter, Arsheya. Indhu receives the Ashoka Chakra posthumously awarded to Mukund, and a bust of him is unveiled at the Officers Training Academy. The film ends with Indhu feeling Mukund’s presence, symbolizing their eternal bond.
Budget and Collection:
Budget of movie Amaran is Rs 70-200 crores including all the promotions and advertisements. As the performed amazingly well on box office, it managed to collect Rs. 320 crores.
OTT release:
The digitals rights of movie Amaran brought by NETFLIX and satellite rights by Star Network for all languages. Primarily movie was ready to stream on Netflix in November, but due to its good performance on box office the release was delayed and scheduled and started streaming from December 5th, 2024, in Tamil and in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada in dubbed versions.
